A little white on the green

Clubs were swinging on Tuesday, June 12 as the inaugural White Coat Classic presented by NCI teed off at the Loch March Golf and Country Club.

Golfers were treated to a great day on the course followed by an evening of networking and dining, all in an effort to raise funds for cancer care at The Ottawa Hospital.

“It takes a lot of time and energy to put together such an event,” said Tim Kluke, President and CEO of The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. “We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with such a dedicated group including the chair of the White Coat Challenge Dave Allum, our sponsors and of course everyone who took part.”

Dave Allum, Chair of the White Coat Golf Classic teams up with Anneke Kind, Chief Radiation Therapy, The Ottawa Hospital;  Danny Timmins, CEO, NCI; and Ranald McGillis, President and CEO of Gallium, at this year’s tournament.
