Canotek Park rising to the Challenge

The east-end companies of the Canotek Park Challenge had such a great time hosting their June 6, BBQ that they wanted to do it again on July 18! So far they have raised an impressive $30,000 towards their goal of equipping a chemotherapy bay with the latest in life-saving technology for patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment at The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre. Thanks to the committed efforts of the Canotek Park Challenge members, The Ottawa Hospital can already purchase an ultrasound machine for a chemotherapy bay. What an impact these companies have already made!

The Ottawa Hospital Foundation thanks these local partners for the positive impact they have made on cancer care in our community!

At the Canotek Park Challenge BBQ on June 6, Willie Bloom of VLN Advanced Technologies presented The Ottawa Hospital Foundation with a very generous gift of $30,000.
