Telesat employees Ride the Rideau

Telesat employees consistently show their enthusiasm and wonderful culture of corporate philanthropy by supporting various areas of The Ottawa Hospital, including cancer care. Over the last three years, Telesat employees have raised more than $70,000.

Not only has Telesat held a successful employee campaign for The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, 21 Telesat employees grabbed the handlebars of heroism to participate in Ride the Rideau in September 2012. The group raised more than $35,000 and ranked among the Top 10 fundraising teams. Ride the Rideau is a 100-km bike tour in support of groundbreaking cancer research at The Ottawa Hospital.
