We’re stronger together
Over the past few months we have all entered uncharted territory. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed how we work and how we live. But apart doesn’t have to mean alone. Together, we can help those in our community who are working around the clock to keep the rest of us safe.
We created the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund in response to the many requests from the community to help. Generous donors from across our region and the country rallied and joined in the fight — it was nothing short of inspirational.
As the crisis continues to evolve, incredible stories continue to emerge. From nurses who have come out of retirement to bravely position themselves on the frontlines of our assessment centre to the donors who have stepped forward in a variety of ways to help out.
While our community continues to rally, our very own healthcare workers continue to gear up each day, standing alongside our patients during this difficult time.
Together, we’ll take care of each other.
“During these times of uncertainty, we are grateful to our doctors, nurses, and front-line staff as they continue to work around the clock to provide exceptional care to our patients and our community.” – Tim Kluke, President and CEO, The Ottawa Hospital Foundation
Patients and visitors at The Ottawa Hospital
Major changes have taken place at The Ottawa Hospital to protect staff and patients during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Access to The Ottawa Hospital for patients is now restricted to a small number of entrances at each site. Please follow signage posted onsite and be prepared to be screened on arrival for symptoms, travel history and contact history.
Due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19, our Foundation staff are currently working from home. To connect with us, please email email@example.com. Thank you for your ongoing support of The Ottawa Hospital.
Thank you to those in our community who have donated in-kind support of food, PPE, and other supplies for our front-line healthcare workers.
