My husband was diagnosed with dementia caused by a stroke at the geriatric unit at the civic. He was admitted several times for complications of renal disease and diabetes. He received excellent care always. He had to go to a long term care home where he passed a year after he arrived. From there he was sent several times to the Civic Hospital and again the care was superb. I respect the staff and the organization for taking good care of him.
