My mother Jessie (Dempster) LaPage had 6 daughters. She worked at the Civic Hospital for 25 years until she retired. She loved her job and the people she worked around daily. She was well known because of her Scottish accent & good humour and loved by the nurses, doctors and staff alike. She was proud to be working at the Civic Hospital and never missed a day of work in all those years.
