My memories with the Civic Hospital in Ottawa are deeply ingrained due to various circumstances that necessitated my visits there multiple times, including trips to the emergency clinic. The hospital, with its different departments and buildings, has become a familiar place for me. In my mind, the Civic Hospital is associated with healing after hardship. A year ago, I underwent a total knee replacement surgery there, which was successful in every way. This experience heightened my sense of relief and fostered a genuine gratitude towards this place. I am sincerely thankful to all the medical staff—doctors, technicians, specialists, and nurses. Their dedication and care deserve the highest appreciation. Celebrating a century of excellent and humane service, the Civic Hospital stands as a historical landmark in delivering outstanding healthcare.
