Richard Roth has held CEO positions with various established Ottawa companies. He has extensive experience in executive management, operations, unlocking shareholder value, and mentoring the next generation for business succession. He has successfully led teams in business acquisition and sale transactions, as a business owner, CEO and Advisor. Most recently, he managed the sale of a family business to GFL Environmental, where he now acts as a consultant. His own consulting company provides interim or multi-year Corporate Suite services and ongoing Family Office management.
Richard has been a long-time supporter of the Ottawa Hospital Foundation. He brings to the Foundation many years of Board and Community Foundation experience, having acted as Chair of the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation Board and Investment Committee, and member of the Board of the Ottawa Art Gallery.
Richard has a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is a sports and music enthusiast, an avid snow and water skier, and plays bass and guitar in a local rock band. His wife, Dr. Riva Levitan, is a practicing community Family Physician. They have two grown children forging their own paths.
