It’s time to create a better tomorrow.
A new era of healthcare is unfolding — one defined by smarter technologies, compassionate care, and treatments once thought impossible. To meet this moment, we need a hospital built for the future.
The Campaign to Create Tomorrow is a bold, once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform healthcare in our region and beyond. Together, we are building one of the most technologically advanced research hospitals in the country.
The new campus will help reduce wait times, modernize how care is delivered, integrate advanced digital tools, and accelerate breakthroughs that bring discoveries from the lab to patients faster — improving lives here at home and around the world.
This extraordinary campaign is supported by a community of visionaries, caregivers, and donors like you. Together, we are Creating Tomorrow.
Why this moment matters
Every day, our hospital cares for the most critically ill and injured patients in Ottawa and across Eastern Ontario, Western Quebec, and as far away as Nunavut. As the population grows and ages, there is greater demand on our spaces, tools, and teams, along with the need for advanced technology and new methods of delivering care.
The new campus will help meet these needs and will be a catalyst for a stronger, more connected model of care that reaches far beyond our hospital walls.
Building on The Ottawa Hospital’s existing network of 22 satellite locations, which provide specialized care across the region, the new campus will help support the hospital’s vision to provide patients with the care they need, where they need it — whether it’s early and preventative community-based services, hospital-based care for the most critically ill, long-term care, or home care.
The new hospital will help address capacity, improve access, and help patients move through their healthcare journey.
Inside the new hospital, smart tools and digital systems will allow clinicians to work faster and more collaboratively. With groundbreaking research taking place right here in Ottawa, discoveries will move more quickly from the lab to the patient bedside.
Community support is Creating Tomorrow
Every gift brings us one step closer to building a hospital campus designed for the next century of care and discovery. All of this is made possible with your support.
