Innovapost employees raised funds for cancer care at The Ottawa Hospital

Like many Ottawa residents, Tracy Power combines her belief in giving back to her community with her full-time job. This working mom of two and Director of Service Delivery at Innovapost volunteers her time to her company's charity fundraising efforts because she values supporting local charities such as The Ottawa Hospital Foundation. Unfortunately, shortly after her 41st birthday, Tracy found herself in need of the services of The Ottawa Hospital. She had discovered a lump in her right breast, and the results of a biopsy confirmed she had Grade 3 breast cancer.

After a tough battle and the use of services at The Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre,Tracy is now cancer-free! Like her colleagues at Innovapost, she continues to support The Ottawa Hospital through the White Coat Challenge. Through their hard work and dedication employees of Innovapost, along with other members of the White Coat Challenge, raised funds for new computer software for the CyberKnife; the world’s first and only robotic radiosurgery system, offering pain-free, non-invasive treatment for cancer patients.

Supporting Tracy and others, brings new hope for the many affected by cancer in the community. Thank you, Innovapost employees, for improving the lives of cancer patients and for supporting cancer care at The Ottawa Hospital!
